Mr. Williams is an innovative trail blazer with over 15 years of experience in the employee benefits industry, with a career spanning prominent organizations such as Marsh McLennan Companies and the Principal Financial Group. He served as the Chief Operating Officer & Lead Benefits Consultant for Principal Financial Group’s division known as McKnight & Williams.
Throughout his career, Mr. Williams has gained extensive expertise in employee benefits, business analytics, financial consulting, stop-loss/ underwriting, and best practices for employee benefits efficiency. This wealth of knowledge enables him to provide executive-level guidance to clients for their Health & Welfare Programs.
Mr. Williams embarked on his career in employee benefits, initially at the Account Management level. With experience spanning all facets and levels of the employee benefits field, he has climbed the industry ranks to co-found his own brokerage firm. His expertise lies in crafting intricate Benefits Programs tailored for Fortune 100 and 500 companies, encompassing sectors such as Beverage, Hospice, Construction, Physician Groups, Automotive, Engineering, Hospitality, Hospital Systems, and beyond.
Mr. Williams has held several certifications during his career, including Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, FL 2-15 Health & Life, HIA Designation (Health Insurance Associate), Series 6 Securities License, and Aetna Accelerated Underwriting Training Program Certificate. He earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Connecticut.
